Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Grab is working together to provide customers with more seamless travel experiences, marking the first partnership between the world’s most awarded airline and Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and payment platform. Through the collaboration, SIA and Grab will integrate their mobile apps to enhance convenience for customers when travelling to the airport in six countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
From now on, customers will be able to book Grab rides through the SingaporeAir mobile app and have the option to book a Grab ride to the airport seven days before their flight. Selecting this option will direct customers to the Grab app, where they can choose to order a Grab ride to the airport on-demand or in advance. Since, the airport will be automatically listed as the destination, the user will simply need to fill in the pick-up point and desired time.
Additionally, members of SIA’s KrisFlyer and Grab’s GrabRewards programmes will enjoy extra benefits of flexibility to convert their GrabRewards points into KrisFlyer miles.
Furthermore, customers can stand a chance to win a pair of Economy Class tickets to Maldives by entering the code ‘GRABSQ’ in the promo field viz the Grab app booking screen for every Grab ride they take between 11 October and 11 November 2017. Those with the most Grab rides booked during this period will win the contest.
