A number of new attractions will be redefining excellence in hospitality at the Resorts World Genting and we have the Top 10 things to do when you’re up on that mist-shrouded mountain.

  1. Take the cable car ride

Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the 130 million years old rainforest when you take a ride in one of the 99 gondolas of the Awana Skyway cable car system. Thrill-seekers would enjoy being in one of the 10 glass-floored gondolas, travelling 2.8 kilometres from Awana Skyway Station to the peak in just 10 minutes while standing on a see-through floor.

  1. Stay at the world’s largest hotel

Two-time Guinness World Records holder, First World Hotel is officially the world’s largest hotel with its 7,351 rooms. The hotel first won the title in 2006 when it had 6,118 rooms. First World Hotel regained the title in 2015 after the completion of its Tower 3. Choose to stay in the Wifi, Triple or World Club rooms for a pleasant stay at the resort.

  1. Watch the winch and giant LED show at Sky Symphony

Enjoy spectacular visual storytelling at Sky Symphony on Level 1 of SkyAvenue. This is an extraordinary audio, visual and motion graphics showcase made possible by the use of 1,001 winch balls suspended from the four-storey high ceiling. Each performance is accompanied by larger-than-life cinematic visuals and original music mix. This feature is world’s largest permanent winch installation and the first multimedia winch attraction.

  1. Go on a shopping spree at SkyAvenue

SkyAvenue has up the ante in retail, dining and lifestyle experiences, with four floors now opened to provide many exciting options. The second floor is where Sephora and Uniqlo being among the latest additions plus popular brands such as Thomas Sabo, Pandora, Kiehl’s, Body & Works, Joy & Peace, Shizen, L’ocitanne and HLA on the high street fashion floor located on the third floor. Apart from that, H&M just opened on the second and third floor, featuring Justin Bieber and Weekend latest collections.

  1. Indulge in a variety of food offerings

On the first floor of SkyAvenue is where the food haven of Genting is located. The first in Asia, famous Burger & Lobster has been creating a huge buzz on social media and long queues.  Other popular restaurants include Cafes Richard, La Fiesta, Motorino, Dragon-i, Din Tai Fung, Royale Vietnam, Dome, Morganfield’s, Madam Kwan, Acme Bar & Coffee, Kyochon 1991, Tampopo and many more. Another new recreational activity to pursue at Resorts World Genting is movie-watching at the Picturehouse Cinema also on the first floor of SkyAvenue. The cinema offers the latest movies and comfortable reclining seats at all four halls of these cinemas with each hall also installed with Dolby Atmos that creates a powerfully moving cinematic experience.

  1. Visit SeniKome for a cultural experience

SeniKome highlights traditional art forms, specifically visual and performing arts from the east coast states of Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan on the third floor of First World Plaza. It offers an experiential area for various traditional games, a galleria area, a video projection room, an event space, and a holographic theatre. End your visit by stopping at the souvenir shop and mini cafe that serves the best of home cooked food from these three states.

Vision City has something for everyone. The more hardcore gamer would enjoy something like Dark Escape 3D, while fans of robots would enjoy Transformers machine. Even the 1980’s Pac-Man is represented here, where visitors are able to enjoy retro game at its best with Pac Man Smash. Witness the first Tour The World with Snoopy from 52 countries this 1 November 2017 to 1 January 2018, that includes parades and exciting activities plus a six meter high inflatable Snoopy at SkyAvenue.

Watch also the energetic The Adventures of the Monkey King: The Golden-Hooped Rod show from China this 11 November 2017 to 1 January 2018 at Genting International Showroom. It’s an acrobatic performance not to be missed.

For Justice League fans, in conjunction with the new Justice League movie, come take pictures with the superheroes such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman from 15 November 2017 to 1 January 2018 at the SkyAvenue.  There will also be games, exhibitions and kids’ corner.
