Prudential Backs Up TN50 Aspirations

Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) hosted a TN50 Town Hall together with Johan Merican, Deputy Director General (Human Capital) of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) and Head of TN50 Special Unit, Civil Service Delivery Unit.

The event saw the attendance of over 150 employees of Prudential’s businesses in Malaysia including PAMB, Prudential BSN Takaful, Eastspring Investments, Eastspring Al-wara Investments and Prudential Services Asia.

Representing Prudential in the “Aspirations for Malaysia” themed dialogue was Lilian Ng, the Chief Executive, Insurance, of Prudential Corporation Asia. The first TN50 dialogue to be hosted by an insurance company in Malaysia, the town hall session explored how the insurance industry would remain relevant and important as the country fast-tracked towards the goals of 2050.

Addressing anticipated mega trends like urbanization and the growing aging society, the dialogue discussed Prudential’s continued focus on innovating and optimizing its operations in a modern society.

It also saw Prudential employees sharing their aspirations for the country, which explored various topics ranging from education opportunities to economic equality.
