Siemens Welcomes the New Year with a New CEO & CFO

Siemens Malaysia appoints Indranil Lahiri as its new President & CEO (effective 1 February 2018), succeeding Datuk Prakash Chandran, who is now the Lead Country CEO of Siemens Indonesia.

With over 22 years of industry experience, Lahiri was the Head of Digital Factory – Factory Automation (DF FA) in Siemens India. During this time, he grew the business’s revenue and order intake by double-digits. He also initiated thought leadership efforts on digitalisation for discrete manufacturing.

Lahiri aims to further strengthen Siemens Malaysia’s core areas of electrification, automation and digitalisation by addressing market needs and challenges with forward-thinking ideas and opportunities for the company to penetrate into through their technologies and solutions.

Additionally, Siemens Malaysia also appoints Madan Mohan as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in January 2018, taking over Gerhard Link. Mohan is a seasoned and competent chartered accountant with extensive work experience. He held various roles that include accounting processes, customer relationship management, operations and project management.
