Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad is continuing its effort to support the national and state football teams by launching another co-branding card with Visa and Terengganu Football Club (TFC). This marks the seventh co-branding effort between Bank Islam, Visa and Football Association.
Dubbed as the Bank Islam Visa Debit Card-I Terengganu FC ‘Peteh Terengganu Peteh’, the card is a co-branding effort showing that Bank Islam will provide solid support to the sport of football. Khairul Kamarudin, CEO of Bank Islam said: “Bank Islam has issued more than 700,000 co-branded cards together with football associations throughout the country during 2016 and 2017. We hope that this encouraging response will contribute to the development of football as well as to promote the spirit of unity among the people through sports.”
The card offers a wide range of benefits to cardholders and part of the annual fee of this card will be given to TFC as part of the Bank’s and cardholders’ contribution to the development of their football team.
In conjunction with this launching, Bank Islam also introduced a campaign that was specially organised for the cardholders, Bank Islam Visa Debit Card-i Terengganu FC FC “Peteh Terengganu Peteh” Campaign. With a minimum spend of RM50 on retail transactions, cardholders will automatically qualify for a campaign entry and stand a chance to win cash prizes as follows:
- Grand Prize x 1 = RM2000 and Football Merchandise worth RM500
- 2nd Prize x 2 = RM1,000 for each winner
- 3rd Prize x 3 = RM500 for each winner
- Consolation Prize x 50 = RM200 for each winner
The campaign starts from 14 February 2018 and ends on 14 June 2018. Bank Islam Visa Debit Card-i Terengganu FC can be issued immediately at all Bank Islam branches in Terengganu and selected branches in the Klang Valley area.
