Hong Leong Bank Bhd (HLB) reaches another significant digital milestone by introducing a virtual assistant named HALI, to help improve operations efficiency by 60% throughout the year.
Being a first for Malaysia, HALI is powered by Hyperlab that specialises in artificial intelligence (AI) powered chat, voice and search products. The chatbot was developed for HLB to assist two main core support functions: Human Resource and Branch Operations, taking over in answering staff queries on policies and procedures.
With HALI, bank employees will be able to make enquiries regards to HR policies and procedures 24/7 through virtual conversations with HALI via personal digital devices. This will allow employees to spend more time and focus on building relevant training programs based on the data HALI collects.
