FENDI Casa celebrates 30th anniversary

In 1988 Alberto Vignatelli and FENDI presented the first FENDI Casa Collection, proposing accessories with the vocation of decorating interiors in the same way that the Roman Maison approached fashion.

It was a pioneering project in the luxury furnishing sector, which for the first time saw a Fashion House launching a global line of furniture and home decor accessories.

For 30 years, an intense and fruitful relationship, symbolic of elegance, excellence in craftsmanship and continuous experimentation, has defined the FENDI codes of living.

FENDI Casa celebrates this important anniversary at the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile 2018, paying homage to three iconic products, each embodying one decade of the FENDI Casa Heritage, by reinterpreting them into new pieces, exclusively exhibited in the Luxury Living store in Via Durini 25, in Milan.

The first re-edited piece is the Cosima dormouse from 1994, a living proposal of timeless elegance, characterized by soft volumes and deep-buttoned leather upholstery. It is reproduced with a seat upholstered in blue nabuck leather combined with the Claudio armchair and the Ripetta pouf.

The Eros sofa , which immediately became an icon of style for its versatility and balanced design, enhanced by its minimal line of the metal base became the innovative essence of the FENDI Casa design. Initially presented with crocodile-effect leather upholstery in a delicate powdery shade, today it has been proposed with beige leather upholstery and contrasting blue details.

Finally, the new One sofa, a synthesis of stylistic rigour and contemporary composure and emblem of the impeccable FENDI Casa production of 2018.

To commemorate this unique anniversary FENDI is also presenting a new Made-To-Oder Capsule designed by Thierry Lemaire and conceived as an emotional journey within the FENDI Casa flagship store in via Montenapoleone, 3 in Milan.

This new Capsule redefines the concept of elegance, proposing sophisticated and eclectic designs as the Beaune table and console system and the Constantin project, made of a lamp and a sofa.
