AZSB Awarded The CIDB Score 5 Star Award

Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd (AZSB), a subsidiary of Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (AZRB) has been awarded the prestigious CIDB 5 Star SCORE Award in a ceremony held in conjunction with the International Construction Week.

The SCORE (SME Competitiveness Rating for Enhancement) programme is developed by CIDB Malaysia in collaboration with SME Corp, to provide an effective gauge of local contractors’ strengths through its stringent and comprehensive rating system. AZSB is awarded based on parameters such as management strength, technical expertise, business performance and best practices.

“We are honoured to be conferred the five-star award in the recently announced results of the CIDB SCORE Programme, and we are determined to maintain and further enhance our capabilities in delivering the highest standard in all our project executions,” said  AZSB Deputy Managing Director, Dato’ Azman Marzuki.

The CIDB SCORE programme rates companies within the Malaysian construction industry with ratings of 0 – 5 Stars. Rating 0 is the basic level and the 5 star rating is the highest.  It is part of CIDB Malaysia’s ongoing effort to raise the profile of the local construction industry and provide a basis for the development of Malaysian contractors by identifying areas for improvement.

“The SCORE programme has provided us in the construction industry with the encouragement needed to be more proactive in managing our day-to-day operations, while ensuring that each project we deliver is of the highest quality,” said Dato’ Azman.

AZSB is a subsidiary of AZRB and is currently involved in multiple mega projects which includes the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya line and the East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE).
