Passat & Tiguan: 5 Years Peace Of Mind

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) announces an additional two years free maintenance for its two bestselling models – the Tiguan, Passat 1.8TSI Comfortline and 2.0TSI Highline.

This promotion is valid for new car buyers from 1st of July till 31st December 2019 and is available for all variants of the Tiguan and Passat, including the Sound & Style and JOIN editions.

With this new promotion, those who purchase a Tiguan or Passat now will enjoy a total of 5 years free maintenance (or 75,000km whichever comes first), 5 years unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years roadside assistance. With low interest rate of 1.88 percent per annum along with the additional two years free maintenance, buyers are assured peace of mind with up to RM13,800 savings on the Tiguan and up to RM15,100 savings on the Passat.

The best SUV in its class, the Tiguan is powered by a 1.4TSI turbocharged direct injection engine with a 6-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) with sport mode to give an output of 150PS and a torque of 250Nm. It boasts safety features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Multi-collision brakes, Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) as well as hill-hold control. For comfort, the Tiguan features Park Assist, Manoeuvre Braking and 3-Zone Climatronic.

The Passat is the bestselling mid-sized of all time and is available in two engine variants. The Highline combines a 2.0L turbocharged TSI engine with a 6-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) giving an impressive output of 220PS and a torque of 350Nm. The Passat Comfortline comes with a 1.8l turbocharged TSI engine and is paired with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) with sport mode that provides an output of 180PS and torque of 250Nm between 1,250 to 5,000rpm.
