TM One Gets New CEO

TM One announced today the appointment of its new Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer. Ahmad Taufek Omar was appointed as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer effective 26 August 2019.

He is taking up the baton from Ir. Ts Azizi A. Hadi, who is now entrusted to head TM Group’s Network Technology as Chief Network Officer.

Ahmad Taufek is no stranger to the telco industry, having worked with almost all major telcos namely Maxis, Digi, Time and Celcom. He brings with him more than 28 years of experience, particularly in sales and marketing for enterprise businesses. Besides the telcos, he had also previously served as the Chief Digital Marketing and Information Technology Officer for QSR Brands. Prior to his most recent stint as the Head of Corporate, Government and Wholesale Business at Maxis, he oversaw the setting up of PT Smartfren’s enterprise business in Indonesia.

With his wealth of experience, expertise and industry know-how, TM One believes Ahmad Taufek is the best person to succeed Azizi as the new champion of its enterprise and public sector segment.

He will continue Azizi’s unwavering commitment in delivering even better and smarter digital solutions to serve customers’ needs.
