BMW’s Latest Evolution: 330i M Sport

BMW Malaysia launches the BMW 330i M Sport, its latest addition to the locally assembled line-up of BMW vehicles. This new model is locally assembled at its facility in Kulim which also assembles eight other BMW models, with a total of ten variants.

The locally assembled BMW 330i M Sport upholds the same level of innovation in technology and stunning characteristics as the model’s imported counterpart, including the unmistakable athletic design and dynamic performance synonymous to the iconic sports sedan.

“We introduced the seventh generation of the world’s best-selling premium sports sedan earlier this year, raising the bar yet again in its segment. While the fully imported variant has seen over 350 new owners in merely six months, the locally assembled BMW 330i M Sport introduced today is set to continue writing the success story of the ultimate sports sedan,” says Harald Hoelzl, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.

“Beyond providing our customers a wider mix of products in addition to our offering of fully imported models, we are pleased to once again deliver on our promise to growing our investments in the country as Malaysia continues to grow as a hub for the BMW Group in South East Asia.”

The iconic sports sedan

The 18-inch M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 790 M bi-colour Orbit Grey with mixed tyres, complete with blue-painted callipers display the M logo on the M Sport brakes. The sports sedan also features adaptive LED headlights with Bi-LED technology.

The highlights include the notably larger kidney grille and slim, three-dimensional taillights fitted in an L shape with emphasis on the use of smoked glass.

Powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, the New BMW 330i M Sport generates a top speed of 250 km/h and outputs 190 kW/258 hp with a peak torque of 400 Nm from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm. It also makes the century sprint in 5.8 seconds. With the updated 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the vehicle consumes 6.4 litre of fuel for every 100km. The reduced carbon emissions of 147g/km is optimised by a particulate filter included in the exhaust treatment system.

The New BMW 330i M Sport boasts the M Sport leather steering wheel with multifunction and shift paddles along with ambient interior lighting. Amongst the key features unique to its segment are the Intelligent Personal Assistant and Digital Key, as well as the safety innovation offered in the form of the Park Assist and Reverse Assist, afforded by the Parking Assistant system.
