In conjunction with International Women’s Day, Luno’s and Fave’s collaboration will provide Malaysians access to deals and discounts on Fave which they can purchase and convert into cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP on the Securities Commission-regulated crypto exchange platform, Luno.

Luno, the London-based company intends to leverage Fave’s large user base to create awareness and attract new customers. Women have been underrepresented in the crypto and investment space. Currently, 87 percent of all wellness and beauty purchases on Fave are made by women, hence this partnership will bridge the gap by providing women in Malaysia a possibility to tap into crypto and turn the rebates from their first investments into their favourite products and services.

In a statement by Scarlett Chai, Partnerships Lead at Luno Malaysia, she said that women are proving to be some of the savviest investors in Southeast Asia and beyond, and Fave is the perfect partner for this.

“With our joint efforts, women’s crypto investments can translate into smart spending. This combination is the best way to celebrate smart and powerful women,” Chai added.

According to Victoria Chua, Brand Partnership Manager, Fave’s user base is predominantly women who are tech-savvy and like to stay ahead of the curve. The partnership will allow women the possibility to begin investing in cryptocurrencies with the additional one-of-a-kind value of cashback rebates on Fave.

“With women making up the bulk of retail and wellness shopping, this joint effort with Luno aligns with our shared vision to empower and inspire women to get them more involved in the tech space and also broaden their investment horizons,” Chua said.

The Women’s Day promotion runs on Fave from March 8th to March 14th, 2020, users can claim up to 40 percent cashback on any deal purchases made on Fave during the Flash Sales campaigns.
