“We want to bring the masks and sanitisers to your doorstep via GrabFood! To the rakyat of Malaysia, we want to assure you that Coway has got you ‘covered’ in the hour of need.”

During this period, he said, the most vulnerable are the individuals with underlying health issues, the elderly and those who are home-bound who rely greatly on food delivery services to get their daily essentials.

“Besides the basic necessities like food and water, what most people in Malaysia need right now are hand sanitisers and masks.

“These items are vital during this period to reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19 and prevent the transmission of the virus,” Choi said.

Choi also commented that the best way to contain the Covid-19 situation for now is to avoid being exposed to the virus.

“As Coway’s mission is “Healthy Environment, Happy People”, we believe that a better world is possible when actions – of any size – is taken,” he said.

Choi reminds consumers on the importance to wear the surgical masks correctly to ensure its effectiveness, sanitise and wash hands frequently, to observe the MCO strictly while avoiding crowded places, and to keep indoor air fresh and clean.

“And that’s why by extension, we have embarked on such serious efforts to partner with Grab Malaysia to promote the highest standards of personal hygiene among Malaysian consumers during this crucial MCO period in the country,” Choi concluded.

Coway is committed in their quest to support the Malaysian government, civil society movements and corporate Malaysia to fight Covid-19 to the very end.
