Aeon Retail will be offering a 28 day rental waiver for the period of March 18 to April 14 covering phase and phase two of the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. The offer is made to partners within the non-essential business that are unable to operate at their premises.

The waiver of rental will be enforced throughout all 28 Aeon malls and 18 Aeon BIG Mall Hypermarkets nationwide. The waiver is subject to terms and conditions and is on a case to case basis.

“We are grateful to our business partners and suppliers for continuously ensuring uninterrupted deliveries to all of our stores nationwide. This valuable support enables us to provide the sufficient supply of products to our customers at all times. We advise our customers not toengage in panic buying throughout this period. We are constantly replenishing our stocks at the store level,” said Shafie Shamsuddin, chief executive officer, Aeon Retail (Malaysia).

Aeon Retail has also ensured that sufficient stocks are made available throughout all of its stores nationwide and will continue to provide essential services to the general public as it continues to operate supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and financial services.
