Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa donates its hotel amenities to Sungai Buloh hospital

Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa recently donated over 14,000 hotel amenity items to aid the additional 600 wards setup for treatment at the Sungai Buloh Hospital which has been designated as one of the hospitals to handle the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

The items donated include shower gels and shampoos, shower caps, vanity kits, gloves, used pillows and blankets.

“There are many silent heroes in the medical profession who are working tirelessly to put our needs ahead of theirs, and in the midst of this battle to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we are heartened to donate some of our hotels amenities for their patients and staff’s needs.” said Alex Castaldi, Senior General Manager of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.

“We hope that this contribution will assist in the personal hygiene and comfort of both the patients and staff at this crucial time.”

Dr. Kuldip Kaur, Director of Sungai Buloh Hospital commended Sunway Resort for their donation of essential items to the hospital’s staff handling COVID-19 patients as well as for the patient’s usage.

“We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to Sunway Resort and greatly appreciate the kindness rendered at this crucial time,” he added.

This initiative is part of the #SunwayForGood movement, which is Sunway’s commitment towards a sustainable environment, economy and society.
