Servex partners with Green Packet to expand product offerings

As one of Malaysia’s top suppliers of  ICT products as well as a leading ‘one-stop’ computer component distributor in Malaysia, Servex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“Servex”) has partnered with Green Packet Berhad (“Green Packet”) and become one of the IT channel distributors for KipleLive solution.

As the world grapples with the effects of the pandemic outbreak, Servex is upping its game to better serve the community at large through a new product line. “While more and more offices are allowed to operate during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), it is important for the employers to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the authorities in curbing Covid-19 transmission,” said Jerry Soon, General Manager of Servex.

“Thus, we see it as our commitment to bring such an innovative solution to the market and meet the needs of our reputable business partners and clients by prepping them to resume their business operations soon,” said Soon echoing that Servex currently has more than 3,000 dealers nationwide, with a head office in Selangor and 15 fully-operational branch offices in every state.

According to Soon, the dealers’ feedback on customers’ interest has been encouraging lately especially on KipleLive solution that has become one of the most highly sought solutions in its new product offerings.

He added, “With the overwhelming response, we are now ramping up our dealers’ briefing and training as many customers have already sought for a product demonstration.”

The KipleLive solution comes with KipleLive FR thermal scanner. It integrates with artificial intelligence, facial recognition, and cloud-hosted services, to scan and record the temperature and attendance of each employee and visitors, even with the face masks on. This makes an ideal contactless entry to the building while providing a holistic health monitoring solution for any building management.

Ti Lian Seng, CEO of KipleLive shared further that the KipleLive FR thermal scanner is well-suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), schools, and factories. Besides, this device can measure one person at a time with the speed of up to 30 people in a minute.

Ti said, “This solution also comes with an app that helps businesses adhere to the stringent SOP outlined by the government such as keying in personal and family details as well as travel records for contract tracing. Not just that, KipleLive app allows the daily health declaration of the employees which reduces compliance-related paperwork and human contact.”

“By having Servex as one of our distributors which is also a subsidiary of Acer, I’m sure many people and businesses will greatly benefit KipleLive solution in the new norm of post Covid-19,” added Ti.

Celebrating on the new partnership between Servex and Green Packet, Soon said “Marking our 25th anniversary, we are glad to partner with Green Packet for the expansion of our product portfolio that comes in a timely manner to help companies and organizations to thrive and enhance its operations process during times like this – a noteworthy milestone for Servex.”

Servex has also recently extended its presence into the e-commerce space as part of its strategy to reach a wider audience at their convenience. Some exciting plans in the pipeline are to offer more innovative solutions including Internet-of-Things (‘IoT’) as digitization is the key moving forward.
