Selangor International Business Summit 2020 goes virtual to allow for larger and diverse audience

Invest Selangor Berhad has announced that the Selangor International Business Summit 2020 (SIBS 2020) will be held on a virtual platform on the same date as previously announced, from Oct 14 to 17.

Selangor International Business Summit is an annual business summit with three expositions and four international conferences, organised by the State Government of Selangor for exhibitors, trade visitors and conference attendees mainly from the ASEAN region.

The shift to a virtual platform is in response to public health and travel safety concerns relating to the Covid-19, and to support the health and safety of our exhibitors, buyers, delegates, speakers, sponsors, trade visitors and members of the public.

The four-day variety of engaging and informative online sessions will include virtual expositions, webinars, live conference, online networking and business matching opportunities.  Virtual SIBS 2020 will allow a larger and more diverse group of attendees to connect, network and discover from the comfort of their own homes and workspace.

According to Dato’ Hasan Azhari Hj Idris, Chief Executive Officer Invest Selangor Berhad, “The opportunity of digitalising Selangor International Business Summit will help to reaffirm the credibility of the smart state status in leading the adoption of technology in doing business and at the same time, provide timely assistance for entrepreneurs in time of crisis, the response from our past exhibitor has been good so far”.

Virtual SIBS 2020 aims to help re-energise local and international companies to rise to the challenge, offering a number of new marketing channels to capture every business opportunity available
