Celcom introduces Celcom Business Suite, offering SMEs a 50% matching grant of up to RM5,000

Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) has introduced the Celcom Business Suite™, a one-stop SME digital kit allowing SMEs to rapidly transform and optimise their business operations. This follows its participation as a Technology Solutions Partner with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) which allows it to qualify for the SME Business Digitalisation Grant.

The grant, introduced by the government in Budget 2020, offers SMEs a 50 percent matching grant of up to RM5,000 for any subscription of digital services such as electronic Point of Sales (e-POS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), electronic payroll system, Digital Marketing, Procurement, e-Commerce and Remote Working.

Celcom Business Suite™ offers multiple digital solutions for SME businesses such as cloud-based e-POS, electronic payment, digital marketing solutions and additional productivity tools such as tablets and Microsoft Office365.

This comprehensive end-to-end service enables businesses with all the right digital solutions, tailored to simplify digitalisation of smaller scale businesses. By offering easy and simple solutions, SMEs would not need to source for digital solutions from multiple providers.

The SME digital kit further offers solutions such as the Celcom SafePay Electronic-Point of Sales (e-POS), a cloud-based POS system that offers simplicity and is perfectly suited for small, of brick and mortar businesses.  This includes the capabilities to manage contents related to menu, manage employee check in and checkout times, enables retailers to build a better customer relationship through implementation of loyalty programs, targeted promotions and voucher.

It also enables retailers to accept card transactions when paired with the existing Celcom SafePay mPOS, a mobile Point of Sales (mPOS) terminal. Users will also have access to digital Marketing with OMNI Communication, a single web portal that enables a wide reach out to customers across all channels; SMS, email, Push notification, and chat apps.

Additionally, SMEs can now get their business operations connected seamlessly online. With each subscription, a data plan of 20GB monthly and a tablet is offered to SMEs, together with a postpaid line that offers unlimited calls and 20GB mobile data.

Furthermore, Celcom Business Suite™ offers business owners the flexibility to choose and customise add-on services based on their business requirements. With every Celcom Business Suite™ subscription, customers can opt for Microsoft Office365 or market their business digitally with Location Based Advertising (LBA) at affordable prices.

Local SMEs may register their interest with Celcom Business Suite™ at https://www.celcom.com.my/support/contact-us#business_contact_form and experience a simplified digital transformation for their businesses. Over 200 Celcom dealers and channel managers nationwide are ready to assist SME business owners when they register with Celcom.

Azlan Zainal Abidin, chief enterprise business officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad said as SMEs face a challenging business landscape with rising concerns of business sustainability, cost and operational efficacy, Celcom offers business owners the unique opportunity to digitally transform their businesses with its one-stop SME digital kit, Celcom Business Suite™.

“With over 30 years of standing together with Malaysian businesses and the widest 4G LTE network nationwide, Celcom continues to bridge digital innovation across industries and drive rapid digitalisation adoption, elevating the nation’s digital ecosystem. We also applaud the government’s initiative and encourage Malaysian entrepreneurs to take this opportunity to transform and digitally empower their businesses, creating a sustainable ‘win-win-win’ digital ecosystem,” he added.
