Lalamove launches interstate delivery service to support SMEs

Lalamove Malaysia has launched its interstate delivery service to support local SMEs with their business sustainability agenda.

The expansion is part of the delivery platform’s “Building Sustainable Businesses” initiative to support SMEs with its diversified delivery solutions to weather the post-pandemic economic climate.

Lalamove interstate deliveries come with a few criteria. At the moment, the points of origin for interstate deliveries are confined within Klang Valley.

Furthermore, deliveries to other states within Peninsular Malaysia can only be performed with Lalamove’s van, 4 x 4, 1-ton and 3-ton lorries.

Lalamove is still maintaining its “pay-per-use” pricing scheme despite the greater distance with interstate deliveries. The app will quote the delivery price that shows total fare before the orders are placed.

The charges for subsequent kilometer will be lower based on distance tiering.

On average, the delivery fare from Klang Valley to East Coast starts from RM400, RM350 for deliveries to the Northern region and RM120 for deliveries to the Southern region. Details of the pricing are listed in the following table and in Lalamove’s website.

The gig-based delivery platform is also encouraging SMEs to leverage on its current promotion to optimise their supply chain and SMEs that sign up for a Lalamove Corporate Account will be eligible to receive complimentary delivery credit and a set of promo codes worth RM20 before July 31.

Interested SMEs can reach out to Lalamove at 03-7688 6555 for more details or by filling in this form.
