Celebrating 10.10, Youbeli, a home-grown e-commerce platform in Malaysia collaborated with PJ Digital Mall, one of the largest IT malls in Malaysia to bring the best deals on electronics and gadgets for Malaysian online shoppers. The online-to-offline (O2O) campaign has brought together 10 participating tenants onboard the Youbeli platform to promote more than 8,000 products.
This collaboration marked their biggest online shopping initiative following the exclusive cross border tie-in with PChomeSEA from Taiwan recently.
According to Chua Khai Suan, Chief Executive Officer of Youbeli, “As the e-commerce industry matures in the country, nudged by the current Movement Control Order (MCO), more shoppers prefer to make purchases online. However, as part of our O2O initiative to help brick-and-mortar retailers to continue to flourish, we have decided to work with PJ Digital Mall for the 10.10 Sale. So, instead of competing as two different entities, we complement each other’s business model to bring the best deals for our customers”.
“Since we started the collaborative campaign on 1 October, we saw a long queue of customers outside the mall especially last weekend. At times like this, we need to ensure businesses continue to run to support the country’s economy however much we can so we can reduce the number of unemployment due to the pandemic,” said Jeffrey Fang, Leasing Manager of Digital Mall Sdn. Bhd.
In conjunction with the 10.10 collaborative campaign, those who prefer self-pickup that allows them to inspect the products beforehand, they get to bring home surprise freebies.
In the future, Youbeli is offering same-day delivery to any addresses within 10 km radius from the PJ Digital Mall in 3 hours for any order made on the Youbeli platform, providing customers a more enjoyable online shopping experience.

The promotions and vouchers are also applicable for computers, laptops and accessories as Youbeli and PJ Digital Mall saw the rising demand for those items as more and more Malaysians are adapting to the new normal of working and learning from home during this pandemic season.

The collaboration with PJ Digital Mall marked Youbeli’s second cooperation with a physical shopping mall.
