Members of Board of Visitors donates 20 wheelchairs to Hospital Shah Alam

Members of Hospital Shah Alam Selangor (HSAS)’s Board of Visitors donated 20 wheelchairs to the hospital as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort.

The Board members are raising funds to provide the necessary health equipment such as beds, trolleys, and medical supplies for both hospital and its staff. Irmohizam Ibrahim, Executive Director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), officiated the ceremony in delivering the 20-unit of wheelchairs to the hospital.

Irmohizam Ibrahim, who is one of the directors, stated the importance of this annual CSR programme in spreading health awareness and providing additional support for those in need, while connecting more intimately with the community.

Statistically, hospitals in Malaysia receive more patients and visitors intake daily compared to patients being discharged. Members of the Board of Visitors hoped that the donation of this equipment will supplement the existing equipment at the hospital and provide better access to health support for HSAS patients.
