MAN Trucks Service Center Gets Closer To Port Klang Customers

A good company is one that listens to its customers and be closer to their needs, this is taken to a literal sense with MAN Truck and Bus which has just opened its new service centre in Port Klang, offering its fleet operators and customers located in the vicinity with more efficient and timelier vehicle care.

In the serious business of hauling, time is money and downtime usually comes with a penalty, operators of such service’s dread whenever their trucks have to be send to service centres or in the workshop for repair. Often times these centres are situated away from the industrial zone’s and this causes disruption to their operation, however MAN Trucks have been listening to its customers invested in a 91,000 square feet for services and storing new vehicles waiting for delivery.

Customers can be at ease, as there are six service bays that can service up to 12 vehicles at any one time and all the necessary equipment to provide the highest level of service and repairs including a MAN Cats III Diagnostic system and air-conditioning servicing, the new service centre is also fully compliant to all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) required by the authorities for the prevention of the Covid-19 virus.

This new service centre will enable us to be closer and more accessible to our customers, on top of providing them with the best solutions for their transportation needs”, said Andrew O’Brooks, Managing Director of MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd.

During the opening of the centre, MAN handed over 9 TGS 28.440 6X2 prime movers including one with MAN XLion range that comes equipped with MAN Genuine Roof Top Air Conditioner RTX 2000.

The Port Klang service centre is headed by branch operations manager, Gopinathan Chellayah and his team who are well trained to provide a comprehensive range of MAN services, including the Mobile24 breakdown service that offers 24/7 support. The service centre is opened six days a week from 8.30am till 6.00pm.
