KOPETRO Food has offered food production service, facilities and opens business opportunities to small and medium industry entrepreneurs in helping to generate the economy of Malaysia’s small and medium industries.
According to the Chairman of KOPETRO Food, Abdul Razak Bin Hussain, as of now, a total number of 153 sales agents have been appointed in each state including, Selangor, Melaka, Terengganu, Johor and more agents will be appointed in other states to expand the LengQuas product market by 2021.
He added that KOPETRO has now been appointed by the Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia as a representative for other cooperatives which will bring products from other cooperatives to the international level.
KOPETRO is also in negotiation with several exporters in an effort to bring LengQuas frozen products to the international market as early as the second quarter of 2021.
They are also in the process of obtaining a Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) certificate from the Department of Veterinary Malaysia to enable all the products to be exported abroad. Introducing five traditional menus such as Daging Salai Lemak Kuning, Kari Daging, Asam Pedas Daging, Kuah Kacang dan Daging Dendeng, LengQuas also serves two international food menus, Beef Stew and Chicken Glaze.
According to Ahmad Azizul Mashud, KOPETRO Food’s Head Of Operations, LengQuas products have received more orders than usual during the Movement Control Order (MCO), especially when LengQuas started to offer delivery services to customers around the Klang Valley via Foodpanda.
All LengQuas products have successfully obtained HACCP and GMP recognition from the Food Safety and Quality Division (BKKM), Ministry of Health Malaysia as well as HALAL, MESTI and Made in Malaysia certification.
