EduCity Iskandar to host inaugural EduCity Leadership Summit 2021

EduCity Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EduCity Iskandar) will host the inaugural EduCity Leadership Summit 2021 (EdLeadS 2021) from January 11 until February 11.

The event will host ten webinar series for 2,000 targeted participants from higher education institutions (HEIs) locally and internationally.

“The free webinar provides a platform for the newer generation of future leaders to enhance knowledge, values and skills via sharing of experience from world-class sports-related figure and industry leaders,”

“The collaboration with international partners such as Sensible Soccer is the start of the education’s city aspiration in introducing more invaluable contents for the students,” Wan Ahmad Saifuddin Wan Ahmad Radzi, Managing Director of EduCity Iskandar said. 

Mike Phelan, Director and Chairman of Sensible Soccer and Assistant Manager of Manchester United, added that leadership skills, development in communication and team building can be prospered through sports.

The project is set to emerge as a unique platform to host more programmes. Additionally, they hope to provide sustainable and long-term solutions for issues and challenges in the education industry.

EduCity Iskandar urged student leaders to join EdLeads 2021 from local and international HEIs especially from neighbouring countries such as Indonesia, Singapore and Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia, Libya, United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
