Nam Heong restaurant chain owner sets up social commerce platform to aid busineses affected by Covid-19

The former founder of OldTown and current owner of (Nam Heong restaurant chains) Andy Goh has introduced a social commerce platform, MeCan Trade to leverage on e-commerce to aid local entrepreneurs and brands affected by the Covid-19.

Andy emphasised that MeCan Trade comes to play and aims to help local entrepreneurs through offering a trade platform for brands to own their digitalised infrastructure through e-commerce.

“The core value for MeCan Trade is to share the wonders of what technology can do to improve, accelerate and re-invent new business ideas. We already have all the resources in place, we just have to collaborate and execute,” he added.

All the provision of stocks, payment gateway, back-end logistics and delivery system will be taken care by MeCan Trade for the Ambassadors. No startup capital or inventory stocking are required. The members only need to establish their own e-stores to select a wide variety of original products on the MeCan platform.
