HealthifyMe launches FitFest 2021 to encourage users to adopt healthier lifestyles

Healthcare startup, HealthifyMe has launched FitFest 2021 to celebrate HealthifyMe’s users and encourage them to adopt healthier lifestyles.

Notably, over 200,000 users have signed up for the virtual festival, which is open to both existing and new users and will run till January 31 on HealthifyMe’s app.

The programme features contents on health, nutrition and wellness, and a series of games, exercise routines and interactive activities to motivate users for a fitter way of life.

“FitFest’s platform aims to start the year on a positive note. The company’s mission is to help existing communities and new users to lead better lives and improve their health,” Tushar Vashisht, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HealthifyMe said.

In South East Asia (SEA), the app’s usage reportedly spiked a 30 percent increase in their user traffic, engagement, and retention due to the Covid-19 lockdowns.

HealthifyMe’s platform engagement grew from five sessions to seven and a half sessions per week and the number of foods users have tracked increased from four to eight logs per day.

“The company wants to appreciate the community and users in making HealthifyMe Asia’s largest health and fitness startup,” Swapnil Garg, SEA’s Head of Business at HealthifyMe commented.

“FitFest 2021 is a restart for all of us. The aim of the programme is to inspire one another to love better the best versions of themselves the years ahead,” Manan Chandan, Director of New Initiatives added.
