Private hospital, ParkCity Medical Centre (PMC) has been accredited the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accredited Standard and Gold Seal of Approval, and Best Practices Award ‘2020 Malaysia Emerging Hospital of the Year’.

The recognition is awarded by JCI, and Frost and Sullivan.

The accreditation process of PMC, a hospital under Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH), was conducted virtually by a team of international healthcare experts due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia.

“The accreditation is the result of undergoing an exacting assessment and meeting a series of qualifications across the hospital that demonstrate sustainable improvement in the quality and safety of the hospital processes,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PMC, Ch’ng Lin Ling said.

Additionally, the ‘2020 Malaysia Emerging Hospital of the Year’ was measured by PMC’s exceptional healthcare services.

“As a community hospital focusing on high quality, compassionate and safe patient care, these wins will keep PMC moving forward and continuing to aim higher as a world-class healthcare provider,” she added.

With PMC’s accreditation, six RSDH hospitals, including Ara Damansara Medical Centre and Subang Jaya Medical Centre, in Malaysia as well as three facilities in Indonesia are now JCI Accredited Hospitals.
