Muhammad Izwan Hafiz and Muhammad Syafei from UiTM has been declared the winning team of the Grand Final Campus Masterchef Challenge bring home a winning prize of RM 10,000 cash and certificates.
The winning team’s dishes were fish roulade, crusted duck with green curry sauce accompanied with Masala Vadai Ball and Puding Raja Tart with Cream of Anglaise and Assorted Fruits.
Champion of MasterChefMY, Fazley Yaakob said that the dish is very interesting dish, and it is very deserving of the first prize.
Ganeral Manager Midea Scott & English Electronics Sdn. Bhd. (MIDEA), Mark Tam Thuck Chuen said despite the changes caused by the pandemic and with the new normal, cooking at home using the right appliances is crucial as it can save time and at the same time help us cook more efficiently.
“We realise the food is something close to us and tie us, so this is a platform to showcase our product and hone the new generation of masterchef.
“Despite changes due to covid, with new normal, when u cook at home using the right appliances is crucial as it can save time and also improve the cooking ability, multitasking,” Mark said
Mark further said MIDEA is a young brand and produce a good quality product very functional to enhance your cooking experience.
Previously, 80 universities from across nation compete in cooking competition that organize by MIDEA Scott & English Electronic competition Campus MasterChef Challange (CMC) that took of in Feb 5 and four team has been chosen for the final cook-off today.
