MYEG Launches Hotel Quarantine & Treatment Bookings Portal To Help Putrajaya Manage Low-Risk Covid-19 Patients

MY E.G. Services Bhd (“MYEG” or “the Group”) has launched SafeQ, an online portal that allows low-risk Covid-19 patients to choose from a range of hotel accommodations and amenities when undergoing mandatory quarantine in a more convenient environment.

MYEG Project Director, Nor Adnan Zainal Abidin said individuals who have tested positive for the virus but are considered low-risk and choose not to undergo the isolation period from a home-based quarantine or government facility can make arrangements via the portal to be quarantined at any of the participating hotels.

Adnan further stated that the service aims to assist the Government in dealing with congestion in hospitals and other compulsory quarantine locations around the Klang Valley.

“This service is approved by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) and Petaling District Council.

“We follow the strict Standard Operations Prosedure (SOP)  guideline by Ministry Of Health (MoH) and will ensure the hotels adhere to the SOPs in place in providing the best service at all times to quarantined patients,” Adnan said.

Adnan added that SafeQ marks the latest in a series of initiatives by MYEG to help the country’s ongoing fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

SafeQ provides a selection of hotel accommodations of varying categories, ranging from 3-star to 5- star facilities, to cater to all budgets, accessible at www.safeq.com.my.

At present, the portal has listed The Club Saujana which can place 150 people and Silka Cheras which can place 140 people at once.
