Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre (SKSMC) has been selected as one of the designated Vaccination Centres in the Klang district. The hospital will begin administering the Covid-19 vaccine for healthcare frontliners from their own hospital, as well as other medical centres in Klang.
“We are honoured to be given the opportunity to do our part in supporting the National Immunisation Programme. Our hospital has prepared a dedicated area for the vaccination, and will ensure all stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) are
adhered to,” SKSMC’s Hospital Director, Tan Suet Guan said.
SKSMC’s healthcare workers, as well as those from three other hospitals in the Klang district will begin to receive the vaccines in stages over the next three days. With Selangor recently entering the Conditional Movement Control Order, Tan
cautions everyone to continue practicing social distancing and register for the vaccine through the MySejahtera app.
“As we progress through the initial phase of our nation achieving herd immunity, we look forward to the upcoming phases where we can further serve as the vaccination centre for the Klang community,” Tan added.
