Revenue Monster Launches à la carte On Alipay, Offers More Value For F&B Merchants

Malaysian financial technology company, Revenue Monster has launched a new in-app mini programme, à la carte on Alipay, the digital payment and daily life services platform.

Revenue Monster’s integrates à la carte directly into the Alipay app giving Alipay users access to order, and pay for food delivery services offered by Revenue Monster’s F&B merchants.

The à la carte solution was launched before in early 2020 amidst the first Movement Control Order (MCO) which attracted a list of F&B merchants including Sushi King, Kenny Rogers Roasters and Dragon-I.

“With the Alipay mini programme, we hope to increase our merchant base whilst also bringing more value to more than 6,000 merchants on the Revenue Monster platform by extending their digital reach to new customer segments,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Revenue Monster, Amanda Chin said.

Revenue Monster offers the lowest platform fees at 18 percent for merchants who join the mini programme. As an additional benefit to merchants, from now until May 31, merchants who sign up for a minimum of one year will also receive one payment terminal for free.

“It is critical for the F&B sector, traditionally based on a brick-and-mortar model and heavily reliant on footfall, to go digital to sustain its customer reach and engagement amid the outbreak,” General Manager, Global Merchant Partnership, South and Southeast Asia, Alipay, Cherry Huang commented.

“In today’s landscape, it is imperative for businesses to digitalise and we have found Revenue Monster’s service to be immensely helpful on that front. This new added-value mini program    within Alipay simply gives us more business opportunities which is always a plus,” Director of Good Taste Oriental, Wilson Lee said.

The à la carte Alipay mini programme represents the first phase of Revenue Monster’s plans to further expand the base and use case for its independent online super store solution, with plans in the works to bring the service to other platforms this year.
