Master Community Developer, Sunway Property’s newest freehold property, Sunway Belfield, has registered a 80 percent take-up rate for its first tower despite its soft launch during the movement control order.

Due to the overwhelming response, the developer has now opened its second tower for sale.

The Sunway Belfield development, spans 5.43 acres with a gross development value of RM 1 billion. The development comprise three residential towers and is located only 400 meters away from the Maharajalela monorail station, placing residents a mere two stops away from the KL Sentral transit hub and three stops away from the Bukit Bintang MRT station.

Central region property development division executive director, Chong Sau Min, attributed the success of the development to a combination of its strategic location, freehold tenure, its green features, and the development’s consideration of the new norm lifestyle.

“Sunway Belfield is a Green RE-certified sustainable development, and is designed with Sunway Property’s value proposition blueprint for all its developments – connectivity, healthy lifestyles, convenience, community and security in place. In addition, we have taken into consideration of new norm lifestyles such as the renewed focus on health and wellbeing, and the work from home trend. The development integrates close to 30 facilities for the residents for social and wellbeing activities including a co-working space, a herb and spices garden for farm to table living, as well as indoor and outdoor community spaces.

“Many of our own-stay buyers are also charmed by the fact that the development is situated in a unique part of Kuala Lumpur where food, culture and architectural heritage is in abundance, whereas investors are attracted to the potential capital appreciation from the development’s location in a growing part of Kuala Lumpur,” he added.

The development is located close to the Zhongshan Building which has been transformed into an art hub, and the famed Loke Yew family home which is now the Pentago House, and the Chan She Shu Yuen Ancestral Hall.
