Malaysia’s Immunitee Health Passport Verifies First Live Passenger Verification in Singapore

Malaysian health passport public-blockchain based mobile app, Immunitee, has completed its first live passenger verification from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Singapore on last Saturday, April 10.

Immunitee allows users to store Covid-19 Swab test results on a public blockchain, ensuring the highest level of data protection and preventing the use of fake test results to board planes and cross the causeway.

In a joint effort with Qualitas Medical Group, Singaporean passengers who have performed their swab test will get their results electrically stored onto the app upon verification.

Chief Executive Officer, Nick Boden, shared, “Immunitee has successfully ac this crucial milestone as we take data security and confidential information seriously. And as the number of fake PDF copies of tests and vaccine certificates grows, swab test results’ that are paperless and digitally verifiable are becoming more relevant. This will avoid the postponement of travel bubbles.”

Apart from utilising blockchain system for security and protect confidential information, Immunitee provides a single Vaccine Registry Management System that unites private and public healthcare systems.

“We are currently working on expanding into other ASEAN countries, the United Kingdom and South Africa, to allow more people to safely store their healthcare information on the blockchain,”  Nick concluded.
