Mah Sing’s M Centura Achieves 89% Completion, On Track To Achieve Q4 Target

The construction of Mah Sing’s M Centura is currently at around 89 percent completion and is on track for vacant possession targeted in Q4 2021.

Present at the topping up ceremony were Mah Sing’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang, management team of Mah Sing, as well as main contractors who are involved in the development of the project.

Being Mah Sing’s first project in Sentul, M Centura has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM570million. This strategically located development is only 5km from the Kuala Lumpur city centre, allowing easy access to various parts of the city and suburbs via trunk roads and highways including DUKE Highway, Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) as well as Karak Highway.

Datuk Ho Hon Sang said, “When we first launched M Centura in 2017 under our “Reinvent Affordability” initiative back then, we aim to reinvent what it means to be affordable and develop more affordably priced homes to cater to market’s supply demand gap. The fully sold out M Centura speaks for itself as the wholesome package of the project fits our home buyers’ need. We take pride in understanding the market needs for affordable homes and this is the key success recipe that we replicate for our projects.”

In conjunction with the topping up ceremony, Mah Sing also announced that M Centura has recorded over 4.2 million safe man hours without Lost Time Injury, reflecting the Group’s commitment in safeguarding the welfare of the workers at its construction site.

He further said, “Following M Centura’s success, we have also subsequently launched our second freehold project in Sentul, M Arisa in January 2020. We knew that with the strategic location of Sentul that offers ready access to lifestyle amenities and infrastructure, coupled with the spillover demand from M Centura, this will certainly drive strong interest to M Arisa. Once again, our unique project proposition with attractive pricing points works as M Arisa has recorded a strong take-up rate of 90% for the three phases that we have launched, and our fourth phase is currently open for sale.”

“With the HOC coming to an end on May 31 and the current low interest rate environment, home buyers should grab this opportunity to quickly secure their ideal home while enjoying the incentives from the government. Complementing the HOC, M Arisa is also one of the projects under our ‘Come Home 2 Mah Sing’ Campaign, which offers various benefits including payment-free up to 4 years and also provides an alternative financing solution, HouzKEY offered by Maybank Islamic to the home buyers who need assistance.”

M Arisa, which sits on 3.31 acres of land in Sentul has an estimated GDV of approximately RM652 million. The project featuring urban forest concept is targeted mainly for first-time homebuyers and upgraders as well as young buyers.
