Lifestyle e-commerce platform, Zalora has announced a regional partnership with Atome to introduce a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) flexible payment option for its users across both website and mobile online store.
With the new BNPL feature, shoppers can experience split purchase into three bite-sized, interest-free payment during the checkout process when opting to pay through Atome. It is said to be launched by end of May 2021.

“This new payment adoption will set to enhance customer shopping and payment experience. “We have seen 70 percent growth in the number of our customers using Atome in Singapore and Malaysia since our soft launch in recent weeks which signals a great start for this journey.” he added.
Additionally, David Chen, Chief Executive Officer of Atome said, “We are pleased to expand our service, partnering with Zalora to enable Buy Now Pay Later option across the region, starting first in Singapore and Malaysia, before rolling out across four other key markets.”
As of now, the payment method is available to Zalora customers in Singapore and Malaysia and will be progressively rolled out in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan customers in a few months to come.
To celebrate the launch in Malaysia, Zalora also offering customers an exclusive promotion when they select Atome at checkout, applicable from now until end-May, using the code as follows:
