Serba Dinamik Co-Founder Remains Confident Despite Disposing Shares

The controversy surrounding Serba Dinamik is nothing of concern and that the board will carry out necessary queries to clarify the issues claims co-founder of the holding company Dato’ Awang Daud Awang Putera. He is also confident of the prospects and the future of the global integrated engineering services provider despite he himself disposing a small percentage of the group’s shares and rubbished reports that he was offloading.

According to a released statement, the sale of the shares was largely due to the technicalities of the stock market margin call and whoever say that he was dumping or bailing out of the company were merely making groundless denunciations.

For the record, both Dato’ Awang Daud and Dato’ Dr Abdul Karim Abdullah were co-founders of Serba Dinamik which began life in 1993. “I have known Dato’ Karim for innumerable years and I place great faith in his leadership abilities which has taken the Group to where we are today”, says Dato’ Awang Daud, who has been connected to the Group in various and diverse capacities since its inception.

Despite the shares of Serba Dinamik languishing after crashing from RM1.61 just a month back to RM0.60, the co-founder is confident the senior management team will sort things out in due time and that the Group will carry out all the necessary steps to clarify any queries pertaining to the audit issues highlighted by KPMG PLT to safeguard the interests of its stakeholders.
