Five Startups Showcase Their Digital Innovation Solutions In Cyberview’s CLLA Programme

Cyberview has concluded its 15th round of Cyberview Living Lab Accelerator (CLLA) Programme with the participation of five homegrown startups showcasing their business ideas in the areas of EdTech, PropTech and technologies such as robotics and machine learning, to kick start the chapter of their businesses.

The Virtual Demo Day is part of CLLA initiative to nurture and select the startups enabling them to showcase innovative digital solutions through the adoption of technology, following the current market trends, customer sentiments as well as the demand.

This is also in line with the goal to capitalise 5000 startups in the next five years and ultimately uplift Malaysia’s digital economy. This event brought together a group of potential investors and business partners.

Najib Ibrahim, Managing Director of Cyberview said, “We are witnessing the industry experiencing and powerful consolation as demand for digital solutions and services continue to grow exponentially, in this new norm. Our CLLA latest cohort is focusing to escalate edutech, proptech and AI-based solution as these areas are forecasted for a strong growth in years to come.”

Among the startups which have pitched their digital solutions, after completing a vital five-month mentorship and consultancy under Cyberview are Roomah, Synapse Innovation, Move Robotic, LinkUp Smart Solutions and Pandai.

Roomah features a property management platform that flips vacant hotel rooms into medium-term rentals that cater to nomadic living trends among younger people. It aims to fill up the vacant hotel capacity and offering same experience hotel, cost and time effective return for short terms renters.

Representing the Edutech was Pandai, a startupthat offers interactive learning app for home-bound school students to assist an effective virtual learning. Next is Synapse Innovation, which provides predictive analytics solutions powered by machine learning and cloud technologies to boost industrial efficiencies. 

Aiming to escalate the robotic and automation industry in Malaysia, the virtual demo day has seen a pitch from Move Robotic that offers autonomous robot services to empower companies that are considering remote capabilities for business continuity.

Move Robotic has developed its own autonomous robot, through offering product and services such as mechanical design, electronic and control Artificial Intelligence, and algorithm as well as software development.

Another startup was LinkUp Smart Solutions, a company that applies Internet of Things (IoT) and automation technologies to offer seamless interconnectivity in the home. 

Through Cyberjaya’s centre for innovation, this accelerator programme provides a launchpad for start-ups and innovators to accelerate their business development and growth. The entire city serves as a sandbox for these businesses to act as proof of concept, allowing them to test their products and ideas.

“Our aim is to create a network for these start-ups to connect them with domestic industry experts in the digital market through public and private initiatives,” Najid added. 

“We are proud to see how far these start-ups have come after our first engagement five months ago. We welcome investors to partner and be part of these growing start-ups. Cyberview as a tech hub developer will continue to become the pillar of support for digitalisation,” he concluded.
