Raising Funds For Hospitals In Dire Need

We have all seen the images of over worked frontliners laying down at the hallways, doctors working round the clock in ICU units and nurses who had barely gone home. This is the situation in our healthcare system at the moment, its not only the people are the brink of collapsing the hospitals themselves are being stretched to the limits with supply shortage and failing equipment’s.

BusinessToday would like to share this call for assistance from the IDEAS Community Projects (a sister organisation to IDEAS the think tank, which leads community projects) and Projek Bangsa Malaysia who are collaborating on a joint initiative called Dana Kecemasan Hospital (Hospital Emergency Fund) to aide hospitals and national frontliners.

This urgent initiative will support Malaysian hospitals, which are currently operating beyond their maximum capacity due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, hospitals are experiencing insufficient facilities and are in need of additional equipment to support the increasing numbers of critically ill patients.

In view if this current health crisis, IDEAS Community Projects and Projek Bangsa Malaysia is pleading to all Malaysians/organisations to support the “Dana Kecemasan Hospital”, to ease the burden of our hospitals.

On behalf of the Board of IDEAS Community Projects, YAM Tunku Zain Al-‘Abidin Tuanku Muhriz commented, “Hospitals in Malaysia are facing unprecedented crisis as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and I hope these contributions will alleviate the stress on our inspirational frontliners.”
