Subang Jaya Medical Centre Awarded ‘Hospital Company Of The Year’ Title

Being recognised for doing great work and even more so when it comes to helping patients in the healthcare field is always rewarding. A well deserved acknowledgement is due for the team and all the staffs at the hospital when Subang Jaya Medical Centre received the ‘Malaysia’s Hospital Company of the Year’ title from Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific this year.

SJMC, part of the Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Group, bagged the title in a virtual event organised by the consulting company, the title were for excellence in three areas which Frost & Sullivan deems as “imperatives” in the digital health industry they are Transformative Mega Trends, Disruptive Technologies, and Innovative Business Models. 

Trish Hogan, Chief Executive Officer of SJMC, said, “Celebrating our 36th year in healthcare, the prestigious award is testament to our years of being a trailblazer with multiple firsts in the industry and a deep commitment to exemplary cancer care and high patient care standards. As part of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, SJMC’s dedicated team of doctors and staff will remain steadfast in serving the community by working through challenging circumstances to provide excellent healthcare services both locally and internationally.”

The hospital one of the earliest private healthcare’s in the country, has many innovation under its belt among them is the availability of next-generation sequencing to enable targeted cancer therapies, telehealth services for patients amid the Covid-19 pandemic for online consultations, and even has speech therapists and clinical psychologists amidst its facilities. Additionally, the hospital has the Joint Commission International accreditation and certification, which is recognised as a global standard for superior quality of healthcare and patient safety.
