Selangor Approved RM472 Million To Aid SME’s In The State

Apart from the Federal Government’s various schemes to assist businesses, industrial state Selangor had also taken initiatives to ease the burden of small medium enterprises with financial aids.

As of end July, Selangor Advance a funding program formalised by the Menteri Besar office, approved funds worth RM472 million especially for the small and medium enterprises. According to Chief Minister Dato Seri Amiruddin Shari, the state has received application from 925 companies thus far.

Selangor Advance was conceived last year after the country went into a lockdown under MCO 1.0, the state being the largest economy had many companies facing dire situation due to closure and were seeking for assistance. The purpose for the financing was to help ensure the continuity of a company’s cash flow, giving some assurance to its employees and their wellbeing.
