Malakoff Hands 4 Rooftop Solar Project Worth RM22.8 Million To Samaiden

Malakoff is handing 4 rooftop projects in various parts of the country to well known solar energy company Samaiden Sdn Bhd , who is mainly involved in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and power plants.

The RM22.8 million EPCC agreement will involve installing rooftop solar panels at CTRM Aero Composites (CTRM) in Melaka, Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas) in Gurun, Kedah, HICOM Teck See Manufacturing Sdn BHd (HTS) in Shah Alam, Selangor; and Isuzu Hicom Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IHM) in Pekan, Pahang. Scope of work will include the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning in connection with the projects.

Established in 2013, Samaiden has completed more than 200 projects involving renewable energy, the company’s clienteles include MBSB, Top Glove, MKH property and many more. Malakoff is a leading independent power producer with an effective capacity of 5,836 MW comprising six power plants that run on oil, coal and gas, the group has been transforming its energy business to include more sustainable and renewable alternatives. It already owns one solar producing facility and will now adds another 4 into its stable.
