Aspiring to ride the digitalisation wave together with the business owners and communities, AwanBiru Technology Bhd (Awantec) is hosting its first MyDigital CloudDay (MDCD) this August 20, in showing the way for them to start their journey to the cloud.

Working hand in hand with Google Cloud, MDCD will be a one-day virtual event that serves as a platform for interactions and exchanges between industry leaders, experts from Google and public to understand the prospect of cloud better. More than 300 remote participants, mainly from the public sector are expected to be joining interactively via web-conference in this insightful event.

In the same time, MDCD will be a mean of showcase to demonstrate what cloud can do, and how different areas of cloud computing such as artificial intelligence and big data can help them to not only recover amid this pandemic but to grow as well.

MDCD is underpinned by the drastic changes that were brought about by the COVID-19 virus outbreak, which had caused many to struggle in adapting to these unprecedented changes and dynamics.

“Disruption is the current business models, and this model will either make us if we manage to hop on the digitalisation wave in time, or break us if we don’t.

While we might not like it, uncertainties and disruption is the new normal, and we must adapt to stay relevant – and Awantec would like to ensure that Malaysians are ready. This is the embodiment of MDCD, an initiative of ours with the aspiration to equip Malaysians with the knowledge and tools required to face disruptions head on”, said Dr. Abu Hasan Ismail, President and Group CEO of Awantec in his comments.

Armed with more than 18 years of experience as an advocate of Technology and Talent, along with its global partnerships, Awantec is all in to drive the technology industry in Malaysia towards a new digital economy via its Cloud offerings of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) & Anything as a Service (XaaS).
