Earthworks and civil engineering services specialist Advancecon Holdings Bhd says that LSS TPG, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Advancecon Solar Sdn Bhd, had signed a 21-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with TNB National Berhad (TNB) for its upcoming solar photovoltaic energy-generating facility.
LSS TPG will design, construct, own, operate and maintain the solar photovoltaic energy-generating facility with a capacity of 26.00 MWac to be located in Kuala Langat, Selangor.
The facility will be connected to TNB’s medium voltage Distribution Network at 33kV PMU Teluk Panglima Garang.
LSS TPG targets commercial operations of its solar photovoltaic energy-generating facility on 30 November 2023, and contributes positively to future earnings of the Group.
Dato Phum Ang Kia, Group Chief Executive Officer of Advancecon Holdings Berhad said:
“LSS TPG’s signing of the PPA with TNB is a positive step forward in our renewable energy venture, particularly to build our recurring income stream.
This agreement adds to our ongoing rooftop solar photovoltaic system under the Net Energy Metering for commercial premises, which have begun to contribute revenues since early-2021.
The signing between TNB and LSS TPG comes after Suruhanjaya Tenaga had announced the list of successful bidders to develop transmission-connected large scale solar energy (LSS) projects in March this year.
