Celebrated Luxury Timepieces

A valuable timepiece is one of the most unspoken statement of style and opulence that we can embellish ourselves with. Luxury watches like Chopard, Breitling, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Hublot and a limited few more have been perfecting the wristwatch for decades.

And as time ticks by and technology becomes more complex, these labels have not only kept up with global tech developments, but also continued with their own respective ingenuity.

While multiple new styles launch each year from each designer, there are some styles that stand the test of time and are still more than worth the investment.

Chopard

Released on the cusp of Chopard celebrating the quarter-century anniversary of the Chopard Manufacture located in Fleurier, the L.U.C QF Jubilee was correspondingly made available in 25 pieces worldwide.

Though rather minimalist in appearance, its execution is second to none. The watch is the first Chopard creation in steel to synchronously obtain the COSC and Fleurier Quality Foundation certification. Aesthetically, the watch is a true connoisseur piece thanks to the diminutive 39mm case, syringe hands, small seconds, gorgeous finishing and brilliant symmetry.

With its intriguing look hovering between modernity and vintage touches, the L.U.C QF Jubilee is adorned with a sector dial. Inspired by the Art Deco and Bauhaus movements this type of dial is built around several concentric circles enabling easy reading of the hours and minutes and has remained an undeniable success since its invention in the 1930s.

Breitling

A brand known for its sports-chic portfolio of watches; Breitling caught many off guard by presenting several high watchmaking pieces in 2021. In the limelight is the Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 Bentley Limited Edition, which is the latest rendition in the abiding partnership spanning in excess of 15 years between both initial Bs.

Paying homage to a long-lasting partnership, the Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley comes in a limited run of 25 pieces. The heritage-inspired Premier embodies some of Breitling’s most famous innovations, and revives its legacy of inventing the modern Chronograph.

Featuring rectangular chronograph pushers and Arabic numerals, the heritage-revived Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley displays a variety of elegant design details such as grooves on the case-sides, an open tourbillon cage, an open sapphire caseback and vintage-inspired hands. The Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bentley comes in 18k red gold with a distinctive green dial and a gold brown alligator strap.

Audemars Piguet

Boasting an iconic design that transcends trends and a slender proportion that anyone will agree, the Royal Oak is one of the most sought-after watches, let alone the “Jumbo”.

The Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin marks the first time the configuration of 39mm, a full 950 platinum case and bracelet, and a smoked green dial adorned with a sunburst pattern is implemented in the 15202 collections. The minimalist aesthetic seems to resonate with many collectors around the world.

The sapphire caseback grants remarkable view of the self-winding Manufacture Calibre 2121 fitted with a 22-carat gold oscillating weight.
