Kerjaya Prospek which is involved in building high rise residential properties for established developers has been awarded a fresh new project worth RM126.1 million from UEM Sunrise.
This will be the first time the group will be doing work for the developer on a proposed residential development project located at Bandar Putra Permai, Mukim Petaling, Selangor. Including this contract it will be Kerjaya’s fifth contract for the year, bringing the year-to-date contract wins to RM649.6 million. The company’s total outstanding order book now stands at approximately RM3.4 billion.
The awarded contract encompasses 2 blocks of apartment with a 7-storey podium carpark, consisting of a 6-storey carpark plus one level of common area and facilities. Works are expected to commence in mid December this year and will take 27 months to complete from the commencement date. Kerjaya expects the job to provide an additional stream of revenue for the group over the next three years.
Kerjaya Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Mr. Tee Eng Tion is extremely pleased with the groups performance this year especially in the UEM Sunrise as this will be a maiden project for the group.
