Boustead Makes Changes At The Board

Boustead Holdings Berhad continues to make strategic changes the top with the appointments of Pauline Teh Abdullah as its new Independent Non-Executive Director, and its current Independent Non-Executive Director Dato’ Seri Rosman Mohamed as the Chairman of Audit Committee.

Pauline, who also sits on the Board Audit Committee holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from University of Hull, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Saint Mary’s University, Canada. She has previously held various key positions, including Executive Director and Head of Department of Crowe Advisory Sdn Bhd, Director of BDO Capital Consultants among others including a stint as Senior Operations Officer of Public Bank Berhad. Currently, she sits on the boards of Libra Invest Berhad and Ericsenz Capital Pte Ltd.

Meanwhile Dato’ Seri Rosman was appointed to the Boustead Board in July this year and he also sits on the boards of Khind Holdings Berhad as well as Ni Hsin Group Berhad. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Saint Louis University, Missouri and Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Urbana University, Ohio. He has held various senior management positions most notably as the Board member / Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bank Rakyat.

Group Managing Director Dato Sri Shazalli Ramly calls the appointments as invaluable addition to the board with the aim in delivering the Reinventing Boustead strategy goals. As for Dato’ Seri Rosman as the new Chairman of Audit Committee it is to further beef up the organisation and to help improve its overall performance and maximise shareholder value as well as protect the interests of our shareholders.
