Vanke Malaysia has achieved the goal of donating RM10,000 to Mercy Malaysia on behalf of the 1,000 participants who have contributed their smiling photos during the Merdeka month in the “SENYUM MALAYSIA” Campaign.
“SENYUM MALAYSIA” is a campaign that aims to represent the spirit togetherness of Malaysians and is also dedicated to bringing back joy and happiness for everyone.
It is also served as an encouragement for all fellow Malaysians, to uplift their spirits and spread positivity with a smile to the community during this challenging time. Especially to the frontliners who are working tirelessly in the fight against the pandemic.
The one thousand “SENYUM MALAYSIA” photos with special smiling hand gestures were collected from all Malaysian, representing business associates, government bodies, professional bodies, consultants, media partners, NGOs and schools. With every photo collected, Vanke Malaysia will donate RM10.00 on behalf of the participants to Mercy Malaysia Covid-19 Pandemic Fund, as part of the CSR initiative.
A mock cheque presentation was held today at Vanke Experential Hall (VEH) by Mr Lang Cong Managing Director together with a list of participant to Yang Mulia Datin Raja Riza Shazmin Raja Badrul Shah, Vice President II of MERCY Malaysia.
“The donation is to support Malaysia’s health care system by contributing to medical services and the essential needs of marginalised groups within the country, and we are very happy that fellow Malaysians have joined in with one unified purpose and it was a heartwarming sight to behold. We really appreciate those participants who have supported our campaign.”Said Mr Lang Cong.
