Sersol and Dronology Exploring Locally Made Industrial Grade Drones

Sersol E-Solutions Sdn Bhd and Dronology Sdn Bhd is collaborating in developing and manufacturing drones in Malaysia, both parties are looking to capture the growing demand for these unmanned aerial vehicles.

With the technology being in the forefront in IR4.0 for use in various industry sectors, Malaysia can be a key player for domestic and global exporter of such technology. According Encik Mohd Faez, CEO of Dronology and Datuk Wira Justin Lim, Managing Director of Sersol E-Solutions Sdn Bhd, Unmanned Platform such as UAS, USS and UGV have been filling up the void in various industrial sectors. Dronology is already active in the sector with its designed products and solutions being used for military, surveillance, agriculture, search & rescue, and entertainment industries. In addition the company also design, test and builds turbine powered jet drones.

The synergy between these companies is to mainly tap into the global Drones market set to hit USD127 billion and currently the market is young and has big potential for Malaysia. With that potential Dronology hopes that through this MOU, it will be a starting point to vastly explore the potential role that drones will play in new mobility models over the coming years, as well as the associated infrastructure needs.

Dronology is looking to go beyond its current trajectory and consider providing UAS to service commercial, industrial, governmental, and military UAS operation.
