Pestech Explores Waste-2 Energy Plants With European Expert Gartena Holdings

Pestech which is primarily is involved in integrated electrical power technology collaborating with global waste to energy management company Gartena Holding for opportunities in the Waste-2 Energy solutions for ASEAN region.

Under the partnership, Pestech will be providing support in terms of project management, engineering, digitalisation, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical power infrastructure for sustainable power generation plants, power grid, and rail network.

This will be a new sector for Pestech but with Gartena which is operating in UK and Sweden and developed the world’s technically advanced environmental-friendly Waste-2 Energy process as its partner, the potential can be big.

Pestech will have the primary responsibility for new client selection, including identifying potential projects and will also be responsible for project management and overall construction of the plant with localisation aspect wherever possible.

Both parties are looking to work on recycling the energy contents from wastes (either general waste, scheduled waste or medical waste) to generate electricity and prevent excessive dumping to overused landfills. This collaboration is being seen as a positive venture with a global focus on the environment is on the rise.

Pestech currently does EPCC work for High Voltage and Extra High Voltage electrical transmission substations including project management, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical power facilities. The company has been lately delving into sustainable energy generation and development providing solutions in large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, industrial and commercial solar rooftop solutions and off-grid distributed energy systems.

Gartena’s patented technical solutions allow for the construction of plants with significantly lower emissions and significantly higher energy efficiency than conventional solutions.
