Annum Berhad Lands RM62 Million Pipe Work For Sarawak Water Supply

Annum Berhad had entered into a collaboration agreement with GITSB for the sub-contract works in relation to the provision of supply, laying, testing, and commissioning of the pipelines from Salim Water Treatment Plant, Sibu Water Board to Kanowit Sibu Division for Sarawak Water

The job will be managed by Annum EPCC which was formerly known as Billion Apex for the sub contract work which is estimated to be worth RM62.25million for the Sarawak Water Supply Grid Progam.

Annum is principally involved in construction, project management, and its related activities including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. As of the date of this announcement, the issued share capital of Annum EPCC Sdn Bhd is RM1,000,000 comprising of 1,000,000 ordinary shares. As for Greentech IOT, this is a private company principally involved in the trading of construction materials and hardware, civil engineering, drainage, and irrigation, water and sewage treatment contract works and green technology solution consultancy and contract work.

For background purpose, the initial contact was given by Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak in 2019 to Saratech Sdn Bhd to as the main contractor for the Project with a contract value of approximately RM 63.52 million. With this Saratech had in August 2019, appointed GITSB as the sub-contractor for the Project and the JBALBS had on 30 August 2019, entered into an agreement with Saratech to formalise the appointment of Saratech as the main contractor for the project.
